Principal - Tamara Regnier

Mrs. Tamara Regnier graduated from ASU with her Masters in Educational Curriculum and Instruction. She has been in education for over 15 years serving students in K-8 schools as well as 7-12 virtual communities. She taught Middle School Social Studies and has spent the last 5 years in administration. Her time as an Assistant Principal at AMS Peoria Advanced has provided many opportunities to work alongside educators to inspire and empower scholars to reach their full potential. Mrs. Regnier knows that strong relationships between staff and students lead to success and she looks forward to continue building positive connections with our AMS Peoria Advanced families as Principal. |
Assistant Principal - Cristy Cortez

Ms. Cortez is thrilled to bring her 16 years of rich experience in education to her new leadership role at the AMS Peoria Advanced campus, where she is dedicated to the holistic development of every child. Her diverse teaching background spans Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 2nd thru 5th grade, powerfully complemented by many years of coaching cross country, track, and soccer. Ms. Cortez is incredibly excited to build strong relationships, bridge gaps within the school community, and create a truly fun and engaging environment for all students. When not immersed in her passion for education, you'll find her on the soccer field, either playing or enthusiastically cheering on her two sons. |
Assistant Principal - Yolanda Poullard

Mrs. Poullard was born in New York, moved to Wisconsin then to Arizona. Proud mother and grandmother, Mrs. Poullard is surrounded by her immediate and extended family in the greater Phoenix area and has been for more than a decade. Mrs. Poullard earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication / Print Journalism, her Masters in Administrative Leadership with a concentration on adult education from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. She earned her Teaching certificate from Alverno College in English, secondary education with a concentration in Professional Communication. Mrs. Poullard is also accredited with a Coaching and a Business Coaching certificate from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee School of Continuing Education. In her position of Assistant Principal, Mrs. Poullard is committed to providing an upward trajectory for every AMS Peoria Advanced student and to championing the mission of the school. She seeks to ensure the school’s mission resonates effectively to students, families and partners in the community it serves. |
